Netflix needed a social-first way to announce Earle Meets World, a new reality series starring Alix Earle and her family, ahead of the 2026 Upfronts. The challenge was creating something that felt true to Alix’s voice and internet persona without tipping into anything overly polished or forced.
THE WORK
I developed the concept around a simple but native social behavior: Alix physically rotating her phone from vertical to horizontal, seamlessly transforming her content from influencer-style GRWM mode into a cinematic reality series reveal. What begins as a familiar social video evolves into a full family introduction and title reveal for the show.
I wrote the script for Alix and her family, while leaving room for improvisation on set. Many of the “mistakes,” false starts, and bloopers ultimately became part of the final edit, helping the piece capture the chaotic, authentic family dynamic that defines the series.
