THE ASK

Netflix tasked me and my team with crafting an emotional, impactful campaign for the final season of Queer Eye with one goal in mind: make audiences cry.

THE WORK

Date Announce: I led creative and writing for the official date announcement spot, centered around a bespoke shoot with the Fab Five as they reflected on their journey together and prepared for one last chapter.

A Fab Look Back: During production, we also captured an intimate retrospective conversation with the cast, revisiting standout moments from nine unforgettable seasons. I helped curate a collection of iconic scenes for them to react to on camera, resulting in heartfelt, unscripted moments filled with genuine emotion and nostalgia.

Fan Mail Campaign: I devised a fan-driven finale to the campaign inviting viewers to submit letters sharing what the series meant to them and how it impacted their lives. The concept culminated in a planned filmed piece featuring the Fab Five reading the letters aloud together. While the piece was ultimately shelved due to internal conflicts within the group, the idea remained a meaningful celebration of the show’s connection with its audience.

Key Art: In addition, I oversaw key art sketches and creative concepts for the campaign, including the featured tagline: A fab final season.

THE RESULTS

The audience response said it all. Fans flooded the comments with tears, gratitude, and memories of how deeply the series impacted them. We laughed, we cried, we sashayed away one last time.
