SteelSeries has spent decades pushing the boundaries of gaming hardware and software innovation. During my time at Catalyst Marketing, I partnered closely with the brand to develop global launch campaigns, product positioning, and creative assets designed to break through in an increasingly competitive gaming landscape.
THE WORK
Moments: When SteelSeries introduced Moments, a new software platform that allows gamers, streamers, and creators to instantly capture, clip, and share gameplay highlights, I was tasked with bringing the launch to life in a bold, culturally relevant way. I led creative ideation and scripting for a high-energy launch film featuring some of gaming’s biggest personalities, including Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, best known as The Mountain from Game of Thrones.
Arena Speakers: For the launch of the ARENA speaker line, I helped position the product not simply as premium gaming hardware, but as a fully immersive cinematic experience. Built around a world-first innovation that enabled true 5.1 surround sound through a single USB connection, the campaign invited gamers to step into entirely new worlds without ever leaving their room. I led creative on the global launch video and supporting digital assets, crafting a campaign rooted in escapism, immersion, and larger-than-life audio storytelling.
THE RESULTS
Both launches resonated strongly with audiences and helped establish Moments and Arena Speakers as standout products within the high-end gaming space. Each video generated strong fan engagement and expanded awareness for the SteelSeries ecosystem worldwide.
